OBJECT

• To observe the resonance phenomenon in an open ended cylindrical tube. 
• To use the resonance to determine the velocity of sound in air at ordinary temperatures

SPECIFICATION

• BASE ARC shape 9inch(W) x 6 inch (D)and 2.5 inch (H) approx. weight 3 kg provided with two M.S. chromed leveling Screws. Powder coated.
• Pipe one meter long & 25mm dia M.S. Chromed PIPE  is mounted next to a meter scale.  The lower end of it sealed into a metal T  having a side tube connected by rubber tubing to a stainless steel reservoir (200 ml cap.), also mounted on the support rod but with elevation adjustment.
• TRANSPARENT TUBE A tube is fitted along side of the equal length of the Resonance pipe connected to the metal T , to take reading of the water level in the pipe.
• BOARD 100 mm x 44 inches long x 19 mm thick , laminated Board, fitted with one meter long meter scale to take reading of water level.
• Support ROD M.S. Chromed 9 mm dia x 45 inch fitted to the base with screw and the upper part is clamped to a M.S. painted 6 inch long strip in which the Reservoir moves to be adjusted at any height. 
• Rubber Tube One meter provided with the instrument.
