Base                         Heavy cast iron, top nicely machined, travelling carriage slides on the top, which can be clamped in any position. Fine motion screw for                                     finer adjustment. Complete with case.

Motion                     Special design measure object in X as well as in Z direction.has calibrated movement in Horizontal and Vertical direction. The cast-iron                                     heavy base has three levelling foot screws, one being fixed. The base Vee-top surface is machined to take a kinetically horizontal                                     carriage, which supports vertical column. The carriage has vernier and a magnifier for easy view.

For Newton ring:         A 4 inch semi-circular gap is provided for placing  Newton ring under the microscope
